My name is Alejandra Colmenares, and Lunam was born from a simple but powerful belief:

As a woman, and now as a mother to a little girl, I began looking more closely at the products we use on and in our bodies. The deeper I researched conventional menstrual care, the more I realized how normalized discomfort, plastics, and questionable ingredients had become.
I didn’t start Lunam because I wanted to sell period underwear.
I started it because I wanted something better — for myself, for my daughter, and for every woman who has ever felt disconnected from her cycle.
We didn’t invent period underwear.
